Telugu sci-fi film iSmart Shankar by director Puri Jagannadh has been ruling the box office since its release. The director of the film, Puri is basking in the limelight and there is news that he will soon be working on his next film Jana Gana Mana.
However, the director who was earlier in talks with Prince Mahesh Babu for Jana Gana Mana, has declined to comment on whether he will work with the actor or not. Even though Prince and Puri had worked earlier together in Pokiri and Businessman, it has been reported that Puri in an interview revealed, "Mahesh will never give a chance to flop directors. So, I can’t do a film with Mahesh."
So now, while the question is who will be cast in the lead in Jana Gana Mana, the grapevine is abuzz that it could be Sandalwood superstar Yash. There are unconfirmed reports that the director has approached Yash. If talks are confirmed, then Yash and Puri might work together on Jana Gana Mana that will go on floors in 2020.
But as of now Yash is busy with KGF2 (KGF Chapter 2 a sequel for KGF) and the actor recently revealed that Sanjay Dutt will be playing the role of Adheera in the second installment of the series.
