A day after several different looks of Vivek Oberoi's PM Narendra Modi was released, the makers have announced that they will release the film on April 5 instead of the earlier release date. Directed by Mary Kom fame Omung Kumar, the film was earlier set to release on April 12 but producer Sandip Singh has said the date has been advanced because of popular demand.
The biopic of PM Narendra Modi will also release in Tamil and Telugu, apart from Hindi, as per the recent official announcement. About the advanced release date, Sandip said the makers have received a lot of love and anticipation for the film and so they do not want to wait any longer. Being the co-producer of the film along with Suresh Oberoi, he said, "the film is a story of 1.3 billion people and the entire cast is excited to show it to Indians all over". The film went on floors after the first look and poster were released in 23 languages in January.
The biopic is about the political journey of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi from being a tea-seller to becoming the Gujarat chief minister and finally the Prime Minister in 2014. Vivek Oberoi, who will play the lead will be joined by Boman Irani, Rajendra Gupta, Yatin Karyekar, Prashant Narayanan, Zarina Wahab, and Manoj Joshi in the highly-anticipated film.
