PM Narendra Modi trailer

After The Accidental Prime Minister and Thackeray, Bollywood film PM Narendra Modi is being called the most anticipated film of the year ahead of the elections. While the first poster was released in January ahead of the filming, the 10 different looks were released earlier this week piquing everybody's interest. Earlier today, the trailer for the film was released and Twitter is having a field day as they have mixed as well as hilarious reactions.

The film, which is set to release on April 5, traces the journey of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, from being a chaiwallah to become the Gujarat Chief Minister and subsequently the Prime Minister of the country. Vivek Oberoi, who plays the lead, however, has a voice does not match up to the original, except in a few places. It comes as a surprise to many after it was earlier reported that the Shootout At Lokhandwala actor was taking lessons to get the mannerisms of the PM right.

However, many have praised the trailer on Twitter for depicting the Prime Minister correctly and have also called him an inspiration to India youngsters. Many others have reacted saying they got goosebumps as soon as they watched the trailer and cannot wait for the film. Interestingly, others have poked fun at the dialogue, "Jo decision 1 minute me nahi hota wo decision nahi hota”, saying that is probably how the decision for demonetisation was taken.

PM Narendra Modi has been directed by Mary Kom fame director Omung Kumar and has been produced by Suresh Oberoi and Sandip Ssingh. The film stars Barkha Sengupta as Jashodaben Narendrabhai Modi, Zarina Wahab as Heeraben Modi and Rajendra Gupta as Damodardas Mulchand Modi.
