India has had a successful World Cup 2019 campaign and after successive wins against the big teams including West Indies on Thursday, they are also set to take on hosts England on Sunday. Ahead of their match, Nike has unveiled the jersey for Team India and it has a bright orange and blue colour to it.

There is a change in the jersey colour because, both India and England wear blue jerseys, and according to the International Cricket Council regulations, the former will have to sport their away jersey. India is now going to debut their away jersey for the very first time on June 30 and is inspired by the young new generation of India and the fearless spirit of the national teams, according to the statement released by Nike, who are the official sponsors of the national cricket team.

Interestingly, this is the first time that India will be sporting a dominant orange colour rather than the traditional blue, which has been the team’s jersey colour for a while now. The colour is visible on the shoulder patch and the entire back
