The Ezra Club 2019, world’s first ever club tournament, organised by Calcutta Polo Club, reaches Dubai this year with the Ezra cup, the oldest and first polo trophy in the world.

The third chapter of the tournament that kicked off on February 22 has engaged top five teams of Dubai – Pink Panthers, Sunford Rhinos, Bin Drai Kuwait, Bangesh Gander and Desert Palm into a historic match. A total of five matches were held during this period, excluding the finals. After a captivating match between Pink Panthers and Bangash Gander yesterday, the tournament will be culminating in a dramatic showdown today at Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club soon after Round Robin for third place.

The EZRA Cup is the first ever polo trophy in the world instituted by Lord David Ezra in the year 1880. The aim of the tour is to reach out to polo enthusiasts and patrons around the world and after a successful tournament in Singapore and the UK chapters, the cup reached UAE.
