Tamil folk dance performance at DakshinaChitra

DakshinaChitra is celebrating the start of the monsoon with Tamil Nadu folk performances and crafts. The museum has invited Madurai-based folk dance group Munniyandi Kalai Kuzhu to perform Karagaattam and Paraiaattam. As a part of the festival, there will also be wood carvings and unique handmade paper products.
