Catch veteran actor Kulbhushan Kharbanda in action on the stage with Atmakatha. Presented by Padatik Theatre & rikh- Kolkata the play that was premiered in the city back in 2012 also stars Chetna Jalan, Anubha Fatehpuria and Kalpana Thakur Jha and has been invited to 20 National Theatre Festivals till now across India.
The story chronicles an ageing writer Rajadhyaksha and his complex relationships with three women. As all four characters look back at their own lives, different layers and versions of the truth emerge revealing all of them trapped in their own “cycle of torment”.
The play is designed and directed by Vinay Sharma, artistic director, Padatik Theatre and has been written by the Marathi playwright Mahesh Elkunchwar. The Hindi translation has been done by Vasant Deo and the light design by Sudip Sanyal.
