Conceptualised by Tehnaz J. Dastoor and Ritusmita Biswas, journalist and an independent writer who is also a trail blazer in the digital scene, the event is curated by Ramanjit Kaur an Internationally acclaimed award-winning actor and director rising against all odds.
A pre-curser to the event, Celebrating Shakti – The Inner Story, was held on September 24 at Oxford Bookstore in Park Street where speakers Rita Bhimani, Suparna Mucadum, Ramanjit Kaur and Ritusmita Biswas threw revealing light on to the role of media and their respective stance on how it has boosted a powerful platform for women who want to carve their own space in the world.
