The discussion will take place on Subramanyan’s Paintings on The Earthen Platters: Playing with the Tradition, by Soumik Nandy Majumdar. This bilingual talk would be about Subramanyan’s works Sara and is a part of the ongoing exhibition One Hundred Years & Counting: Re-scripting KG Subramanyan. 4. Star Studded Theatre

Theatre lovers do not miss out on the chance to see Makrand Deshpande on stage as he comes to Kolkata with Sir Sir Sarla on May 25. Organised by Behala Bratyajon a Zee Theatre Production, the play running successfully for over a decade has been directed by Deshpande where he also stars along with Sanjay Dadhich, Aahana Kumra, and Romi Jaspal. Behala Bratyajon is organizing the Kolkata Premiere of Sumeet Vyas's directorial Puraane Chawal on May 26. Helmed by Kumud Mishra and Shubhrajyoti Barat the play is the Hindi Adaptation of Neil Simon’s The Sunshine Boys. The play is scheduled to be performed in Kalamandir from 4:39 pm onwards.
