From House of Masaba to Roseroom Couture, check out The Pink Post Inc's pop-up in Hyderabad
The fall season has taken off in Hyderabad on a fashionable note as this weekend, Delhi-based Pink Post Inc Big Bang 18 is set to bring their luxe travelling exhibition to the city for the first time. Curated by fashion entrepreneurs Sharnamli Adhar and Mitali Wadhwa, the pop-up has previously been held at Mumbai, Delhi and Chandigarh.
“We will be bringing around 45 luxury prêt and couture brands under one roof, with chic accessory labels as well,” shares Mitali. The Pink Post Inc was started around five years ago after Mitali and Sharnamli returned to India post their masters degree in the United Kingdom. That’s when they realised that there’s a dearth of affordable and youthful designer labels to shop from. Hence, they took it upon themselves to start this exhibition. “For our first time in Hyderabad, we have curated a collection especially with shoppers here in mind. Rest assured, we have glamorous and edgy ensembles, which can be worn right from Diwali to the wedding season,” says Sharnamli. Mitali, is a designer herself and will be launching her new festive collection, come Saturday. “I have created a new line of co-ord sets and jumpsuits in chic prints,” she says.
One of the biggest names that the exhibition boasts of is Mumbai-based Masaba Gupta. Festive collection from House of Masaba will be unveiled at the pop-up featuring her signature printed saris and tunics. The other label that shoppers can check out is Delhi-based Roseroom Couture by Isha and Namrata Rajpal. Posh Pride, an haute couture label by Prerna Khetrapal Delhi is also showcasing in the City of Nizam’s the first time. “I will be bringing select few ensembles which I have created for Autumn/ Winter 2018. It features an array of experimental drapes like the palazzo and bell-bottom saris,” says Prerna. That apart, her label will also feature pantsuits and athleisure crafted from lace and mesh.
As far as accessories are concerned, Kaeros, is bringing their new range of belt bags and clutches that pair perfectly with cocktail gowns. It is a Delhi-based leather accessory brand that specialises in luxe leather handbags and is co-founded by Kritika Aggarwal and Shreeda Chakraborty. All the clutches are handcrafted and made of leather. One would also be able to shop for statement jewellery by Mumbai-based designer Radhika Agrawal.
