B’town stylist Tanya Ghavri is all set to bring Dhoom Dhaam Trunk Show to Hyderabad for the first time

Tanya Ghavri, the stylist behind the enviable red carpet looks of actresses Kareena and Sonam Kapoor, is bringing her curated wedding pop-up to Hyderabad for the first time on January 19. She and her partner, B’town producer Ashi Dua, are stoked about the debut of Dhoom Dhaam Trunk Show (DDT) in the City of Nizams. “It’s our first time in Hyderabad. We’re super excited and nervous at the same time. We have curated the best of festive wear with regards to the taste of the people here,” shares Tanya, adding that Ashi and she have tried to bring designers that are not available here.

Brides-to-be can block their calendars as they will get to check out more than 50 designer labels from across the country. The one-day bridal display will feature Indo-Western ensembles from designers like Jaipur-based Punit Balana, Delhi-based Anju Modi’s luxe lehengas, anarkalis and saris and Baby Doll singer and designer Kanika Kapoor’s label, House of Chikankari.

“This year our highlight is the Trousseau Section, wherein we are bringing some lifestyle and home décor brands,” informs Tanya. The other highlights include, city-based label Shriya Som by designer Shriya Bhupal, designer Swapna Anumolu’s label Mishru, Kolkata-based Neha Vaswani, Ripaan by Rikita and Ratna and Drishti Zahabia from Mumbai and Baise Gaba from Jaipur.
