If you’re revamping your summer wardrobe for the year, Sasya can be the one-stop shop for all your designer wear needs. The luxe five storey outlet at Camac Street offers a range of international bespoke collections, designer casuals, statement wear, some of the finest couture creations, traditional and fusion ensembles, costume jewellery, and much more. The multi-designer store stocks creations by some of the most famous names in the country, from Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, Rohit Bal, to Joy Mitra, Ridhi Mehra, Sozenkari and many more.

“Our concept was to categorise each floor according to the options we have, so it makes it easier to browse. For instance, we have a floor entirely dedicated to pret lines by a number of designers. For menswear, we have one level featuring bespoke linens from international brands, and also a separate floor for bandhgalas, jackets, waistcoats and sherwanis. Another floor just for sarees, evening wear, statement numbers, and so on,” Rachit Agarwal, who co-owns the store with Mayank Agarwal, tells us.

The sprawling 10,000 square ft flagship, located right opposite The Saturday Club, is possibly the only place you need to look if you’re shopping for a black tie event, weddings, a cocktail night, or even if you’re planning some designer additions to your work wear. As we made our way through the ground floor of the outlet, a stunning asymmetrical deep fuchsia number by Urvashi Joneja caught our eye, which would be the perfect post-work outfit. We also found some versatile kurtis by labels like Sozenkari and Rajdeep Ranawat, a collection of fierce clutches which starts from Rs 10,000, and a stunning traditional white and red ensemble by Rohit Gandhi Rahul Khanna, on display.

You’ll be blown away by the stellar range of designer statement wear Sasya has to offer - from festive pastel lehengas, to blingy summery cocktail dresses, to ornate ball gowns. We also got a glimpse at Delhi-based designer Ridhi Mehra’s new luxury wear collection featuring gorgeous faux feather embellished anarkalis, which are also a rage on Instagram. We couldn’t help but notice the diversity in Sasya’s designer contemporary wear - which is completely in sync millennials’ evolving tastes for toned-down luxe fashion statements.

We came across some excellent embroidered lehenga sets by Joy Mitra and some ethnic wear by Nakul Sen. And then of course, there’s some elaborate organza and net gowns, designed by Sasya’s in-house designers. The price range can also startle you - the gowns start from Rs 25,000 and can go up to Rs 1 lakh. Sasya also has a wide ranging collection of sarees, from Benarasi, Kanjeevaram, patola and other embroidered ones. Linen fabrics for menswear starts at Rs 700 and goes up to Rs 10,000, and designer ethnic menswear starts at Rs 2,000.
