Their Islet collection has been designed by Tanuja Susaria from Vogue Institute of Art & Design, Bengaluru, who won Candere’s recently-held contest and interned under its design team’s able mentorship and training. This time the collection has worked around the unique texture of a mushroom and come up with some brilliant designs that are sleek and ritzy at the same time.

Islet essentially derives the inspiration for its design from bitter oyster mushrooms—a shape and texture that has not been explored yet in the field of jewellery. The most important feature of this collection is its colour and the use of enamel to highlight its texture, giving it a unique and contemporary edge over any other product offered by the brand. It is available in yellow and rose gold, and consists of rings, earrings, bracelets, kadas, pendants, and lariat necklaces.

The launch of Islet by Tanuja was preceded by Ginni, a quirky collection of wearable jewellery centered around gold coins designed by Komal.

“As a brand, Candere has always been committed to unlocking the limitless possibilities in the domain of jewellery, bringing the best and the most unique of the lot for its customers. We hope that this collection resonates with our customers just as well,” tells Rupesh Jain, founder and CEO of Candere.

The range starts from Rs 5,000.
