Christmas is almost here and you still have a lot of shopping to do? Fret not! Ziba by Hand, a pop-up curated by Ila Kapoor Chadda, is sure to have everything you need. With an aim to bring together artisans and designers under one roof, the two-day market will have handmade products across categories like jewelry, shoes, bags, clothes and home decor.

Ila, who has worked with IBM for 15 years, quit her job to focus on her passion for handmade goods and empower women artisans. The pop-up seeks to promote Indian art, handicrafts, sustainable fashion and organic products. The products for sale are curated to include small boutiques and craftsmen who use traditional Indian craft and textiles in unique ways.

Some of the brands one can shop from are Tamarind Chutney (which works with artisans to create contemporary products and apparel featuring ajrakh and other hand-block prints), Okhai (which offers handcrafted apparel and lifestyle products created by rural artisans featuring crafts such as hand-block prints, chikankari, ikat and hand embroidery) and Khara Kapas (handcrafted cotton, jute, and linen garments with a contemporary aesthetic). Other labels to watch out for are Kantha by Farah Khan (kantha saris and dupattas), The Koo Koo Shop (embroidered fabric jewellery and saris), House of Wasabi (minimal contemporary fashion), Risham (jewellery made with woven beads) and Gayattri Navyatta (hand-block printed saris).
