At the Emerging Talents Platform in Via Emilio Gola, an event that is an extension of Milan Fashion Week, buyers and guests were introduced to the rich Mughal influences on India’s sartorial culture. The collection showcased at Milan referenced the beautiful Mughal gardens. Featuring jewel tones such as ruby, sapphire, emerald and amethyst, besides muted shades such as dusty mauve, Arctic blue and dirty lavender, the line-up of jackets, trousers and kurtas, were detailed with zardosi and aari work, making it ideal for weddings and occasions.

Talking about the collection, couturier Jatin Malik says, “For Milan Fashion Week, the focus was to highlight the talent of the Indian craftsmen on a global platform and direct attention towards our brand philosophy of capturing the Indian cultural heritage and rendering fashion forward contemporary ensembles”.
