Marriott International’s debut edition of Shaadi by Marriott in Hyderabad which took place across their various properties like The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace and Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre created quite a stir among the fashionistas in the city, especially those looking for ideas and inspirations about hosting the best weddings of their lives. This even was hosted with the intent to give a glimpse of how personalised wedding experience might look like with food, fabulous venues, exquisite and décor.
“After the success of Shaadi by Marriott as a concept in markets like Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Kolkata, New Delhi, and Chennai,we were pretty excited to get it to Hyderabad’s maiden Shaadi by Marriott extravaganza and thereby showcase the immense untapped potential of Hyderabad’s wedding market,” said Anjali Naik, Director of Sales and Marketing, Marriott Hyderabad Resort And Spa. Hyderabad edition showcased an exclusive showcase of the elegant dreamlike wedding couture crafted by designers Anju Modi and Swapnil Shinde. The graceful Aditi Rao Hydari walked the ramp for Anju Modi while former Indian Cricketer Harbhajan Singh and his wife Geeta Basra will were the showstoppers for Swapnil Shinde.
There were fun mehendi and sangeet dos which sure are inspired those planning for their own and. The Shaadi by Marriott Mehendi ceremony was hosted at Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel Gachibowli followed by an extravagant wedding lunch. Guests then proceeded to the Marriott Executive Apartments for an elaborate high-tea set up at the picturesque rooftop that overlooks the city. The following day, there was a lunch at the newly opened Le Meridien Hyderabad Hotel and then it was time for the much awaited fashion shows which saw the likes of Harbhajan Singh, Geeta Basra and Aditi Rao Hydari take the ramp by storm.
