Ring in the holiday season with Monkey Bar which is hosting an homage to the Anglo-Indian community all through December with their The Jolly Good Fellows menu featuring small plates, replete with decadent flavours, inspired by the food cooked in Anglo- Indian homes across the country.

Mama's Mad Beef Pepper Fry at Monkey Bar

From Maka Pao De (bread and butter with a Portuguese twist), the hearty Panthra and Panko Fried Crepes, filled with chicken mince and paired with spicy devil’s chutney, to Ball Curry and Pao (which is a slow-cooked Railway-style mutton meatball curry served with buttered pao and prawn balchao butter). Our favourite? Shaken Bacon a playful concoction of bacon and booze with Jameson Irish whiskey, maple syrup and a bacon wash topped with a garnish of crisp bacon.

Park Pavilion, the 24-hour restaurant & coffee shop of Jameson Inn Shiraz will be celebrating Christmas and New Year’s Eve by hosting a specially curated buffet on December 25 and 31. You’ll find an array of canapes and crudites like Mushroom Cheese Kurkure, Baby corn Tempura, Cheese and Grilled bell pepper Canapé, Caviar with Crabmeat, Vegetable crudités with Greek yoghurt, Tomato Mozzarella Cheese Salad with Pesto Sauce, Mexican Three Beans Salad, Hummus with Garlic Lavas. Moreover, there’s going to be a live carving station where you can gorge on Kosha Murgi, Lahori Gosht, Mix Seafood Ravioli with Arrabbiata Sauce and Chicken Sausage and Kidney Quiche.

Head over to Fabcafe by Fabindia and indulge in tasty yet healthy and organic desserts like Himalayan Honey and Walnut Tart (made with a mixture of Himalayan walnuts, jaggery, drizzled with honey) and the Fabcafe Chocolate Cake (prepared with a mixture of almond flour; house-made desi ghee and coconut sugar). Gulp it down with a steaming hot cup of Tulsi Ginger Turmeric Tea made with ginger and tulsi.

For the festive season, you’ll find some themed numbers like Let It Snow (pear muddled with orange, apple juice, elderflower and topped with ginger ale), Gin & Tea (elderflower infused gin, hibiscus, cranberry) and Tropical Toddy (cognac, seasonal fruits, honey and Indian spices served with warm water).

Oriental options are Philadelphia waterchestnut suimai, Porcini Chicken Suimai, Thai Green Curry, and more. The Indian section comes with Dill infused Kolkata Bhekti, Wasabi Bharwan Aloo Tikka, Murgh Tikka Awadhi, Gosht Bagwaan, Refinery Kali Dal, Makai Muttar Pulao. The Christmas Eve dinner buffet is sure to take you on a gastronomic journey with dishes like Sea Salt and Rosemary Focaccia, Roasted Pork Belly with Barbecue Sauce, Truffle Infused Duchess Potato, and an assortment of kebabs.
