Glimpses from an event in Kolkata as a tribute to St Francis of Assisi on his 800th death anniversary

In commemoration of the 800th death anniversary of St Francis of Assisi, the Consul General of Italy in Kolkata, Riccardo Dalla Costa, hosted a special evening that brought together eminent personalities from across the city. The event also featured cultural performances by artistes from Kalahrdaya, a vocational training centre in South 24 Parganas, inspired by the life and message of St Francis.
