According to reports, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are tying the knot over the next couple of days at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan.
Located in Chauth ka Barwara town of Sawai Madhopur district, the Barwara fort was established circa 1451 and was built by Bhim Singh, the ruler of the Chauhan dynasty.
This 14th-century fort has been reimagined into an elegant resort by Six Senses and this is their first resort in India. It started operations earlier this year.
Set majestically in the wilderness of Rajasthan, the structure has been restored and it includes two palaces and two temples.
Local artisans have played a pivotal role in its restoration process, which has heavily relied on craftsmanship and methods handed down from generation to generation.
Designed in contemporary Rajasthani style, each of their 48 suites reinterprets the regal ambience. The East Wing overlooks the countryside while the West Wing offers views of Barwara village.
The central courtyard features a cascading water feature and lush indigenous planting.
Six Senses Fort Barwara also has a dedicated wellness space where they use their signature range of indigenous essential and vegetable oils, muds, clays, and gels.
Reports claim that 120+ guests at Vicky and Katrina's wedding will be required to either be fully vaccinated or show a negative RT-PCR test result in order to attend.
According to reports special security arrangement has been made for the wedding and Dharamshalas have been booked for security guards.
