The alleged GTA 6 leaker has released two more gameplay videos even as Rockstar parent company Take-Two Interactive pursues subpoenas against Microsoft and Discord for information that could identify those behind the leaks.
The account or group known as ‘CyberLeek’ posted the two videos on August 22. One features supercar gameplay and an armed robbery, while the other shows gameplay set inside a strip club. The latter appears to mock Take-Two and Rockstar, featuring a cutscene in which a character says they need to “take a leak.” It marks the second leaked cutscene to surface this week, raising concerns that the leaker may have access to a playable build and could reveal major story spoilers.
The latest footage brings the total number of GTA 6 gameplay leaks this week to eight. As with the previous leaks, the videos promote the CyberLeek memecoin, which is widely believed to be part of a crypto scheme.
Take-Two stepped up its efforts to identify those responsible on August 20, filing DMCA subpoenas in federal court seeking information from Microsoft and Discord. The requests seek identifying details linked to accounts that were members of several Discord servers, including one associated with Australian GTA creator Matthew “Matt” Judge, better known as DarkViperAU. Judge has denied any involvement in the leaks.
Take-Two also subpoenaed Microsoft, the parent company of GitHub with a DMCA takedown notice on Wednesday, whih reportedly said, "the entire repository must be completely disabled, there are no remedies to rectify this clear case of infringement.”
As per reports, Take-Two wants to identify those responsible for posting the leaks on Github, as well as “all internal Microsoft business records and investigative records associated with Microsoft’s internal investigation of the ‘cyberleek’ persona sufficient to identify the user(s), person(s) and/or entity/ies associated with that persona.”
On August 21, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York approved Take-Two’s subpoena request for Microsoft. Later that night, Xbox Chief Technology Officer Scott Van Vliet addressed the matter in a post on X.
We are working closely with Take-Two and Rockstar Games to support efforts to protect creative works and intellectual property."
According to reports. Rockstar has no plans to change next week’s scheduled Netflix reveal, although the leaks have reportedly caused frustration internally.
Netflix has also continued promoting Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look, which is scheduled to premiere on August 27. The presentation will debut on Netflix before becoming available on other platforms, including YouTube, six hours later. Rockstar has confirmed the same schedule.
GTA 6 is currently scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026.
