With Avengers: Infinity War uniting all of the Marvel’s superheroes in one big movie, it is definitely one
of the biggest superhero crossover movies. While the biggest superheroes are in Infinity War, there are
still many new outstanding superheroes with mind-blowing new superpowers.
Deadpool
If you think of a badass new-age superhero who comes to your mind? If you thought Deadpool, we’re
with you. Deadpool redefined the image of a superhero when he entered the scene as a fast-talking
mercenary with a morbid sense of humour, more as an antihero than a hero. He possesses accelerated
healing power and a quest for revenge.
Wasp
Much like her partner-in- crime, Ant man, Janet Van Dyne also gets a supply of ‘Pym particles’ that gives her the astonishing ability not only to shrink but also grow wings and fire blasts of energy which she calls ‘wasp stings’. With the upcoming movie, Wasp is definitely a character to watch out for.
X-23
Imagine being genetically engineered to be the ultimate killing machine. That’s how badass X-23 is. A
highly trained and capable assassin, X-23 is trained to kill Wolverine. A series of tragedies later she
eventually joins the X-Men and becomes a daughter figure to Logan.Watch Dafne Keen do an excellent job of portraying the role of X-23 in Logan as the movie makes it first Indian television premiere on April 22 on Star Movies at 1 pm and 9 pm.
Marvel’s Runaways
Marvel revived their beloved comic book series last year, The Runaways and received quite positive
response. The story follows the story of six teenagers who join forces against their criminal parents- a supervillain organization known as The Pride. If that doesn’t make for an interesting watch, I don’t know
what does.
Cloak and Dagger
With superheroes getting younger and younger, here comes another story of two teenagers from very
different backgrounds who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers as
they fall in love. The series makes for a thrilling yet heartwarming story.
