After the Tamil remake of Pink starring Ajith in the lead, reports about the film being remade in Telugu is doing the rounds. According to reports, actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan will play the role that Amitabh Bachchan portrayed in the original Hindi film.
The Telugu remake is said to be produced by Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju and directed by Sriram Venu.
Last seen on screen in last year’s Agnyaathavaasi, Pawan Kalyan was busy with political commitments as President of the Jena Sena party. If things go as planned, he will return to cinema with the Pink remake.
The Tamil remake, Nerkonda Paarvai, featured Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami Venkatachalam and Andrea Tariang.
