JoJo Siwa, a singer and entertainer, was taken to the emergency room on the 28th of November, 2025, after experiencing severe abdominal pain. JoJo later gave her followers an explanation of the situation and how it was all due to her ovarian cyst bursting, causing bleeding internally, resulting in great discomfort and agony. Even though she had gone through it all, she was still invested in her followers by singing later that night and showering love on the medical staff and her encouraging friends.
JoJo Siwa has received emergency care for a ruptured ovarian cyst, which has produced bleeding and pain in her abdomen. This is the account of JoJo's experience leading up to her emergency trip to the hospital. Apparently, she had been feeling discomfort for approximately four days. When she woke up the morning of her performance, she was feeling extremely bad, and she described it as lightheaded, nauseous, and almost passing out after taking a shower. Due to her condition, JoJo's mother had to call for help. At the hospital, the doctors confirmed that JoJo had experienced a ruptured ovarian cyst that had hemorrhaged into her abdomen, and they explained the "unbearable pain" that JoJo had been feeling.
Despite still experiencing the impacts of the episode, JoJo had her pain managed and was cleared to do her performance. Later that same day, she went back on stage – demonstrating her belief in the idea that “the show must go on”. JoJo shared a post thanking the medical professionals who cared for her and informing her followers that she'll continue with additional medical treatment.
In most cases of ruptured ovarian cysts, medical professionals would recommend rest and not surgery to treat the rupture since the body can absorb the leaked fluid without surgical intervention. Following the incident, the medical professionals recommended that JoJo have follow-up imaging if her pain persists or worsens in order to ensure she has an optimal recovery.
