Actress Juhi Chawla is once again happy about one more achievement in her family. Her son Arjun Mehta has passed out from Columbia University in New York. The actor took to Instagram to share pictures from his convocation ceremony.
Juhi Chawla posted a video clip showing Arjun entering the stage at the event that he is being named for. Arjun walked down the aisle in the typical blue-coloured graduation gown and cap for Columbia University. He was confident when he walked down the aisle to the applause and cheers from the audience.
When the presenter mentioned his name, his friends, relatives, and classmates congratulated him. Afterward, Arjun shook hands with an official at the university who was wearing a maroon gown. Posting the video on the Internet, Juhi posted a caption to the video that read, “Proud graduate of Columbia 🌟🎓😁”.
This marks the second time that the Chawla-Mehta family has had a member graduate from Columbia University. In 2023, Juhi’s daughter, Jahnavi Mehta, has graduated from Columbia University. Jahnavi managed to make the Dean’s List at the prestigious Ivy League university.
Juhi Chawla had previously boasted about Jahnavi’s academic performance in the past, “One shouldn’t be praising one’s own kid, but she is a brilliant kid and boasts of a praiseworthy academic record. She did great in her International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) exams, too, and topped History in India. In IB, she topped her school. At Columbia University, she is on the Dean’s List.”
While celebrating Arjun’s birthday last year, Juhi Chawla that she had planted 500 trees for his sake. She wrote, “Happpyy Birthhddaayyy Arjunnn!! God Bless You … Love You. 500 trees for your Haapppyyy and Heaallthhyy life.” Actress Juhi Chawla married Jay Mehta, a businessman, in 1995. They have two children, Jahnavi, who was born in 2001, and Arjun, born in 2003.
