He further adds that with this collection, they wanted to create furniture that resonates with Indian roots while meeting the needs of contemporary homes.
On the choice of materials, Shashi says it was driven by their lasting and aesthetic qualities. “Solid wood brings strength and permanence, cane introduces lightness and breathability, and brass adds a subtle richness without overpowering the design. They are durable and elegant, mirroring the philosophy of harmony that Veda stands for. What we do is present Indian craftsmanship in a refined, modern context.”
