This marks the legendary manufacturer’s exciting new partnership with UK-based Brough Superior.
Together, the companies have created an exclusive motorcycle, christened as the AMB 001, which is essentially a piece of engineering brilliance that stands as an iconic piece of automotive art.
The AMB 001 draws its inspiration from Aston Martin design and connoisseurs will be able to pick out the design elements such as the side strake found on the brand’s cars.
Sculpted from fine lightweight materials including titanium and carbon fibre, the exclusive bike has been finished in the brand’s racing colours that include Stirling Green and Lime Essence.
The wheels of the bike are forged from aluminium and have an exclusive design.
Built to last
Powering the AMB 001 is a 997 cc V-twin turbocharged motor that delivers 180 horsepower, which puts it in the league of superbikes. The engine is paired to a 6-speed transmission with an APTC clutch.
Incidentally, the engine covers are machined by aeronautical engineers to ensure the very best in terms of aerodynamics!
The bike features a double-wishbone front fork made from billet aluminium, while the rear swingarm includes a progressive damping system with a rocker.
Designed for maximum stability at high speeds and extremely agile handling, the bike also comes with the requisite stopping power that has been developed by a race brake specialist to allow for fantastic control even under hard braking.
Only 100 units of the AMB 001 are on offer, making it a rather exclusive motorcycle to own.
It is only meant for track-use and will be hand made at the Brough Superior facility in Toulouse, France.
Deliveries are expected to commence by the end of 2020.
However, you’d have to shell out close to INR 85,54,680 plus import duty and taxes to bring this bike home!
