

Jazz in India has a fascinating ‘behind-the-scenes’ history. Much of the ‘Golden Era’ Bollywood soundscape was actually built by Goan jazz musicians like Chic Chocolate (known as the Louis Armstrong of India) and Anthony Gonsalves, who brought swing rhythms and brass sections into the recording studios.
