Avengers: Endgame director Joe Russo confirms he is ‘talking to Priyanka Chopra’ about Marvel project

Although official announcements are yet to be made, Priyanka Chopra might be our next Marvel superhero!

Joe Russo, who has directed four Marvel Cinematic Universe movies with his brother Anthony, said that ‘he is talking to Priyanka Chopra about a future project’ at a press event for the upcoming Avengers: Endgame in Mumbai.

Responding to the question about working with Indian actors, he reportedly said, “Priyanka is transitioning into global status now. I’d love to work with Priyanka. I’m smiling only because we’re potentially talking to her about something, I’m just not going to say what yet.”

Earlier last year, Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios reportedly revealed that Marvel is planning to introduce comic book superhero Ms Marvel aka Kamala Khan to MCU films. Now that Russo also made a big revelation about PC being considered for a Marvel project, Twitteratis went into a tizzy. While a few are speculating that Priyanka will be considered for the Ms Marvel film, others said that it’s too good to be true considering the revelation coincided with April Fool's Day.
