Actress and politician Khusbhu Sundar, on Wednesday, slapped a man who reportedly groped her during an election campaign. The video of the incident went viral almost instantly.
According to reports, the actress was campaigning for the Congress-JD(S) candidate Rizwan Arshad in Bengaluru’s Indiranagar when the incident happened.
The video shows Khushbu walking alongside Shantinagar MLA NA Haris and Bengaluru Central candidate Rizwan Arshad towards her car when suddenly she turns around to slap a man standing right behind her.
Regarding the incident, Khushbu said to a leading news website, “He groped me once and I turned around and started walking. He groped me for the second time. That’s when I turned and slapped him.”
Speaking to the media, Rizwan Arshad also said that the man, who had groped Khushbu, was pushed back immediately by the police and was taken away. “It is unfortunate that such an incident has occurred. We do not know who the man is but I have asked the police to take action against him,” he shared.
