Janhvi Kapoor visits Tirupati temple in traditional South Indian attire on Sridevi's birthday
Celebrating her mother Sridevi’s birth anniversary, actress Janhvi Kapoor visited Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh.
The Dhadak star shared a picture of herself wearing the South Indian traditional half sari.
Fans of the actress shared videos of her visiting the temple. They commented saying she looks just like her mother: “Looking like Sri mam!! #16Vayathinile memories flashing in mind!!! #sridevi #jhanvi (sic)”
One of them also appreciated her for respecting and following the heritage and culture of the land that her mother belonged to. They wrote: “The way you honor Sri’s love for tradition by going to Tirupati regularly. God bless you. You look beautiful.”
Sridevi, the legendary superstar reigned in the eighties and the nineties. She acted in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films with top heroes. She died at 54 on February 24, 2018, by accidentally drowning in a bathtub in a Dubai hotel. The Chandni star was in Dubai for a family wedding.
Her husband and filmmaker Boney Kapoor took to social media and wrote: “Happy Birthday, jaan, missing you every minute of my life, keep on guiding us, you will remain with us till eternity. (sic)”
