Actors Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu and Sonakshi Sinha shared latest posters of their upcoming film, Mission Mangal. Sharing the look, the cast also announced that the film’s trailer will be out on July 18.
Akshay tweeted saying: “Ek kahaani, jisne Indian space science ki paribhasha hi badal di! Get ready for the #MissionMangal Trailer, coming on 18th July (sic)”
Directed by Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal is one of the most anticipated films of the year and it is to take place in the same year as the launch of India’s second lunar exploration mission, Chandrayaan 2.
The film is based on the story of the scientists who contributed to India’s first interplanetary expedition, Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), which the Indian Research Space Organisation launched in 2013.
It is set to release on August 15 and also stars actress Nitya Menen and Vidya Balan. The teaser was out on July 8.
