Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt, who celebrated her 26th birthday on March 15 reportedly made a very generous offering to her personal driver and domestic help. The actress reportedly gifted them both Rs 50 lakh each to buy houses for themselves in Mumbai.
As per reports, the Gully Boy actress made the grand gesture a few days before her birthday. The reports also added that the driver and the help have been with her since she began her Bollywood career. The two have already booked houses in Juhu Gully and Khar Danda in the city, the reports added.
Alia recently also made headlines for having purchased a 13 crore apartment in Juhu for herself. The actor revealed that the property is intended as office space for her new production company. "Firstly, I bought this home where I live very close to my parent’s home so that I could be close to my parents and sister. I wouldn’t like that to change. Secondly, I built my home brick by brick all my own. Every piece of furniture in the house, every knick-knack is selected personally by me. This is where I live. This is my home. That won’t change,” she had said in an interaction with the media.
On the work front, Alia will next be seen in the period drama Kalank.
