A few hours after #ShameOnKaranJohar started trending on Twitter, Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan have clarified the whole situation. The clarification comes after Karan Johar reportedly liked a tweet which abused Shah Rukh Khan and compared him to Akshay Kumar’s stardom earlier today. However, Karan has now tweeted saying there is a technical problem with his account, and Shah Rukh has supported him too with a funny tweet.

In his tweet, Shah Rukh said he hates clarifications on social media but also went to add that Karan is 'technologically challenged' but has other good qualities like his taste in clothes. The Zero actor said, “Just like Life, Twitter doesn’t come with instructions, so mistakes r natural....& also he has fat fingers” and said everybody should make love not a war because it is more fun. While many fans have heeded his advice, there are many who are still unhappy with the whole situation.

Earlier, Karan Johar clarified that due to the technical problem on his account there are strange things happening like uploading a shoe picture and even liking a tweet. The Bollywood producer added that the tweet got a like even though he had not read it or acknowledged it. However, he asked fans to bear with him as he sorts out the issue and has apologised for any inconvenience caused to anybody (fans).

The #ShameOnKaranJohar started trending after thousands of SRK fans spotted that Karan Johar had like a tweet by a Twitter user who said, "Half day colls [collections] of Kesari on Holi day (which is worse than pre-Diwali day) [is] greater than Zero full festival day collection." The hashtag now has over 22,000 tweets but by the time Karan unliked the tweet, many Shah Rukh Khan fans had already shared a screenshot as proof, and Twitter is now having a field day.
