Kiara Advani is playing the role of Preethi in Arjun Reddy's Hindi remake Kabir Singh. The actor recently met Vijay Deverakonda in an event in Mumbai and had her 'fan girl' moment.
Kiara caught the attention of everyone in a gorgeous pink ensemble, while Vijay looked dapper in golden printed pants topped with a black shirt and a matching overcoat. The two actors posed for the cameras. Sharing the picture on social media, Kiara wrote, "When Arjun met Preethi." She also posted a selfie and wrote, "Fangirl moment."
Kiara earlier said that she was a huge fan of the Tollywood actor. She reportedly said, “Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini were so good in the original. I’m a huge fan of Vijay, who I think is a great actor. They brought the characters alive on screen. We have to meet the high expectations set by them. I’m sure the South media and audience would have a lot of fun comparing our work to the original Arjun Reddy. We’ve just started the shoot of Kabir Singh and it’s going well so far. We began with the emotionally heavy climax sequence, in fact."
Kiara also shared that the shooting for Kabir Singh was completed recently.
Kabir Singh is set to hit the theatres on June 21, starring Shahid Kapoor and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
