After his stellar acting in Netflix's Sacred Games, Saif Ali Khan is set to prove himself to be a versatile actor with his upcoming film, Laal Kaptaan.
He will be seen playing the lead as a Naga Sadhu for this flick by Navdeep Singh.
The one-and-a-half-minute video, titled Chapter One - The Hunt, begins with Saif talking about life and death, as he covers himself in ash. He says, “Aadmi ke paida hote hi, kaal apne bhainse pe baith ke chal padhta hai use vaapis laane. Aadmi ki jindagi utni, jitna samay laga bhainse ko us tak pohonchne.” In the later part, he is also seen dragging a dead body behind his horse and fighting men.
Although nothing has been said about the project, it is expected to be a period film with revenge and drama. According to reports, Sonakshi Sinha will also play a small but important role in the film. The film will be out on October 18.
