GV Prakash slams trolls after separation announcement

Ever since GV Prakash announced his separation from his wife Saindhavi, he has been subjected to a barrage of trolls. Speculations have been rife about the reasons behind the separation. The Rebel actor has now hit out at trolls with a strong statement in Tamil.

The statement loosely translates to, "Being a celebrity doesn't justify the intrusion into the private space of people and discussing it with such derogatory remarks. Has the dignity of Tamilians fallen so low that we cannot realise how these comments will impact someone's life? Our close friends and relatives know the reason behind our mutual separation."

He added that such public discussion and criticism affect people's personal lives and hurt those involved. My heartfelt thanks for your love and support." 

GV Prakash had recently announced his separation from Saindhavi with a heartfelt note. "After much reflection, Saindavi and I have decided to part ways after 11 years of marriage. For the sake of our mental peace and betterment, while preserving our mutual respect for each other." The actor expressed disappointment at the lack of empathy over the incident and also requested privacy during this difficult time.

GV Prakash and Saindhavi got married in 2013, after being in a relationship for over a decade. The couple welcomed their daughter in 2020.
