Did Samantha Ruth Prabhu ’s ex-BFF Sadhna Singh call her a villain post her wedding?

On December 1, 2025, after Samantha Ruth Prabhu was wed to Raj Nidimoru, former best friend and makeup artist Sadhna Singh made a very cryptic post on Instagram that read: “The villain portrays herself as the victim so well.” Samantha’s follower base read this to mean that she is being accused of “playing the victim” in spite of being “the villain,” as Samantha’s second marriage results in her being considered “the villain.” The statement became viral after many believed it to be an insult directed towards Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Furthermore, Sadhna had previously deleted Samantha from her social media accounts, and thus, followers suspected that this post was written expressly for Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

What actually happened following Sadhna's story

The following day, on Samantha's nuptial ceremony with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, Sadhna published a picture with the caption, "The villain acts like they are a victim to perfection." Sadhna did not refer to any person specifically; however, given the prior relationship that existed between Samantha and Sadhna, and Sadhna's earlier unfollow of Samantha from Instagram, it was a common belief that Sadhna was discussing Samantha with her Instagram message.

After the initial post, Sadhna followed up with a second post, posting a video reaction on her Instagram stories where she used a humorous caption to reference the previous day's event as her "exact". Sadhna met with threats and verbal abuse in the form of numerous harassing DMs. Through social media, she decided to make a choice to expose the type of hateful communications sent to her by posting screenshots of some of the worst messages and calling the individual who sent the message, “Smart and has a brain that doesn't work.”

In addition, she posted that the hate towards her had made her laugh even louder. She made it clear by making that statement, although she was being harassed, that she would continue to express herself regardless of the harassment she was receiving. At this point, Samantha has yet to respond to the accusations against her, and Sadhna still has not identified to whom she was referring in her original message.
