Is Meghan Markle planning to make a comeback as a full-time actor?

Meghan Markle is not just returning to the United Kingdom but also to our screens, it seems! Nine years since her last appearance as Rachel Zane on the popular legal series, The Suits, the former actress is reportedly preparing to become a full-time actor once again!

Meghan Markle in talks for Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen

Meghan Markle will probably make her acting comeback with filmmaker Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen, per a new report. Sources have reportedly revealed that Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex has an offer for a role "in an upcoming project based in the UK" and talks are ongoing between the filmmaker and Meghan and the process is still in its early stages.

The Gentlemen is a Netflix comedy series, which is a spinoff of the 2019 action-comedy film of the same name, also directed by Guy Ritchie. The series stars Theo James, Kaya Scodelario among others.

The series, that premiered in 2024, has not been renewed for a third season. Therefore, Meghan's possibility of joining the cast is far from being confirmed and is simply speculation at this point.

Season 2 of The Gentlemen, created and written by Guy Ritchie, will premiere on Netflix on September 3, 2026, days after Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, revealed to the world that they will return to the United Kingdom after leaving the country six years ago in 2020 to settle in California, United States.

Before her marriage to Prince Harry, Meghan had a very successful acting career, featuring in many popular shows and series. She was best known for her role as Rachel Zane in The Suits which she had to quit midway in order to marry into the British Royal Family in 2018.

Following their split from the Royal Family and their highly publicised move to the US, Meghan was seen in several Netflix shows such as the docu-series Harry & Meghan and the reality show, With Love, Meghan.
