Sony released the first trailer of the upcoming Charlie’s Angels, directed by Elizabeth Banks.
The trailer opens with Kristen Stewart’s character telling a wealthy businessman, “I think women can do anything,” to which, he responds, “Just because they can doesn’t mean they should.” “But I have so many talents,” she coyly adds, before showing us a set of killer moves to take him down. The rest of the trailer is a complete treat - an action-packed three minutes of speed car chases, fight scenes and covetable clothes, with the crime-busting stars appearing in stylish outfits.
The movie also boasts a theme song by Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey and Miley Cyrus. Noah Centineo, Luis Gerardo Méndez and Nat Faxon are also said to be in the film.
Charlie’s Angel is based on the TV series. It’s a sequel to the McG flicks, which starred Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu as the title trio in 2000 and 2003. The highly anticipated film will be released in the US on November 15, 2019.
