Top Gun: Maverick’s trailer is here and the dog fights do not disappoint!
Tom Cruise's iconic role as Captain Pete "Maverick" Mitchell in the 1986 action film Top Gun remains an iconic piece of pop culture. Reprising his role in the much-awaited sequel over three decades later, the 57-year-old actor will reprise his role in Top Gun: Maverick. The upcoming movie's first trailer was launched earlier this year, but a new has been released which includes plenty of new footage, including thrilling flight sequences.
The cast assembled alongside Tom Cruise, including Val Kilmer who will be reprising his role from the original film. They're joined by the likes of Miles Teller, Glen Powell, Jon Hamm, and Jennifer Connelly.
Building anticipation to the release, Tom Cruise shared a new poster, yesterday, with the caption: "Feel the need. Trailer tomorrow."
Kilmer also added a caption on his own account, saying: "It may be 'ice' cold outside, though maybe this will warm you up.
"Finally get to share this... poster.
"Even better, a new trailer... Tomorrow! #youcanbemywingman."
