The internet can be quite harsh and while the common man is trolled daily, even actors become victims of trolls who go about saying anything they want. The most recent victim is television actor Nia Sharma who posted a photo on Instagram of her in a bold attire with makeup, unlike usually and was made fun of, by users.
According to several media reports, Nia Sharma stepped out for an event in a white netted gown which made several onlookers turn their heads. While she received many compliments for her new look, she was also applauded but there were many who trolled her saying she looked “dark and ugly’. The trollers went on to say that she is shameless for wearing the white outfit and putting the makeup. One user going by the name of @universalmultifan said that though they do not hate brown skin but she looked good without makeup, and looks ‘black and ugly’.
The actor who is famous for her role in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai had captioned the image, “Do you believe in your guardian angels” but faced backlash as soon as she posted it. Interestingly, this is not the first time the actor has been trolled for her pictures, however, she has chosen to remain silent and has not replied to all the trollers.
