Chinmayi slams Bigg Boss Tamil and Kamal Haasan as contestant admits to molesting women
One of the Bigg Boss Tamil contestants, Saravanan, who is known for his role in the movie Paruthiveeran, in a recent episode confessed to Kamal Haasan (the host of the show) that he used to travel in buses just to touch women inappropriately during his college days.
The episode that aired last Saturday, showed Kamal Haasan discussing that people face while traveling on a busy bus. He said, “To travel on a busy bus is a big hassle. While there are people who are rushing to reach office on time, there are those who get in just to touch women inappropriately.”
Saravanan interrupted and said, “I have done it.” “It was long back when I was in college,” he added while Kamal laughed at the comment. Surprisingly, the audience too joined Kamal and cheered for Saravanan and gave him a big round of applause.
A video of the incident went viral on social media soon after the show aired. Singer Chinmayi Sripaada shared the clip on Twitter, slamming Kamal Haasan and the audience for taking the matter as a joke.
She wrote, “A Tamil channel aired a man proudly proclaiming he used the Public Bus Transport system to molest/grope women – to cheers from the audience. And this is a joke. To the audience. To the women clapping. To the molester..”
