How cascading water inspired The One’s signature design

Arti Chhipa, the designer behind the collection, says The One is the brand’s expression of true exclusivity. “Unlike our regular collections, which are designed for wider availability, The One introduces a single extraordinary masterpiece every month, crafted in extremely limited numbers. Each design is created around a unique concept and is never repeated in the same form, making it a collector’s piece rather than just jewellery.”

The sapphire-and-natural-diamond necklace showcases exceptional gemstones and meticulous artistry. It draws inspiration from the graceful rhythm of cascading water droplets and the timeless elegance of royal heirloom jewellery. “The design features a sequence of pear-shaped vivid blue sapphires, each encircled by brilliant natural diamonds, creating a fluid, cascading silhouette around the neckline. The repeated teardrop motif symbolises purity, strength, and everlasting beauty, while the alternating diamond clusters introduce movement, sparkle, and depth,” she says.

Crafted in white gold, the cool metallic finish enhances the intense blue of the sapphires while allowing the natural diamonds to deliver exceptional brilliance. The matching earrings complete the design.

“The design combines premium pear-shaped natural sapphires with meticulously selected round brilliant-cut natural diamonds arranged in delicate halo settings. Every sapphire is individually framed to maximise light reflection while enhancing its rich blue colour,” says Arti.
