New Delhi, Aug 2 (IANS): A video of a crocodile trying to attack a dog on a water-logged street in Vadodara in Gujarat has gone viral on social media.
Twitter is flooded with people narrating how crocodiles have taken over some streets of rain-battered Gujarat.
In one video, a crocodile can be seen swimming on a flooded street of Vadodara behind two dogs. It tries to attack one of them but fails.
Officials of the Wildlife Rescue Trust, an animal welfare organisation based in Vadodara, said the crocodile was later rescued.
The crocodile probably entered the urban space after the Vishwamitri river overflowed due to heavy rains.
Teams have been working to rescue other crocodiles which would have entered the city, the official said.
