As the World Cup fever peaks with every passing day, here’s what city outlets are offering for fans to cheer the Men in Blue
Men in Blue have been going strong in The 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup and the fans are as excited as ever! However, what makes it even better is the fact that some of the city hotspots have fares at even better prices, to make your viewing experience that much more fun. So we rounded up some outlets where you can not only watch the cricketing action but also enjoy some good food dedicated to the biggest celebration of cricket.
Munch ’n’ Sip
Feast at Sheraton Hyderabad Gachibowli is keeping the munchies innovative and they go well with beer. Keeping that in mind, the match menu comprises Aloo Tikki Chaat, Flavoured Golgappas, Paneer Vepudu Skewers, Vegetable and Bean Burritos, Lemon Grass Fried Chicken Wings, Tawa Fried Surmai at Link Café. “Apart from the munchies, we are also offering beer buckets to make your match-watching fun,” says Maneesh Manral, Assistant Manager, Food and beverages adding that people can expect more quantities at lowered prices during the break. Glocal Junction at Kondapur has launched a special menu for the World Cup season, called, Cricket Mania which offers a curated menu from some of the top cricketing nations. Try the Watermelon Feta canapes from England, Mushroom Galaouti Kebab from India, Lahore Chicken Kebab from Pakistan, Bunny Chow from South Africa and so on. You can also order their Alphonso Mango Cheese Cake and sip on your favourite cocktail from the outlet as you wait for the small plates to arrive. Rs 250 onwards.

During the match season, Zee 5 Loft have turned their menu to be more interactive. With every dish you order, you get some runs that manifest into discounts. Some of the top picks they are offering for this season are Chicken and mushroom pizza, Peri peri Poutines and their signature Mixed Berry and Passion Fruit Smoothies. Rs 800 for two.

At Hay, you can opt for fusion starters with desi tadka — Corn Chaat, Masala Fries, Andhra Chilli Chicken or Hay Fried Tandoori Chicken — with an elaborate menu of over 50 different shots, unlimited beer.
