Other cider life
Wassail or Old Farmer’s Almanac goes all the way back to the Victorian era. Traditionally served during the holidays, this cocktail is made of apple cider, mulled wine, roasted apples, sugar and spices like cinnamon, star anise and nutmeg — all put on the stove for three hours and stirred in with caramel.
