The American Broadcasting Company (ABC) has decided to drop Quantico which starred Priyanka Chopra as agent Alex Parrish. The drama headlined by Priyanka will not return after its third season. The show's current season which premiered last month will continue to air till mid-July.
Three episodes into its third season, Quantico is averaging a 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo and has 2.3 million total viewers, according to Nielsen live-plus-same-day numbers... It was a difficult series to make logistically as production took place in Toronto, the writer's room is in Los Angeles, and creator David Guggenheim is based in New York. The cancelations of series like Quantico, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Designated Survivor, and Lucifer are making space for new programs in the fall.
Priyanka has also returned to Hindi films after a gap and she will be the female lead in Salman Khan directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
