On the occasion of Guru Purnima, actor Rana Daggubati shared a picture featuring his gurus - SS Rajamouli and George Lucas. He captioned it: “Inspired me thru life, cinema and much more. #JaiMahishmati and May the Force be with you!! #GuruPurnima (sic)”
Rana worked with filmmaker SS Rajamouli in the two parts of the magnum opus Baahubali. He played the role of Bhalla Deva, the antagonist.
Rana has always spoken about his love for comics and superhero films including those of Marvel and Star Wars. It’s not a surprise that he took this occasion to pay tribute by mentioning George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars franchise, by sharing his picture as well.
On the professional front, Rana is working on Haathi Mere Saathi, directed by Prabhu Solomon.
