Kareena Kapoor to work with Irrfan Khan in Hindi Medium 2: reports

After her comeback, Kareena Kapoor Khan has been working in wonderful films including Udta Punjab. She also ventured into hosting a radio talk show with her friends and colleagues from the industry. Now, the 38-year-old is reportedly working with actor Irrfan Khan in the sequel of the 2017 Hindi Medium.

"She is playing the lead role in the film and might turn into cop mode for it," a source close to the actress reportedly told a leading media organisation. 

This is the first time Kareena will be working with Irrfan. This is also his first project after he was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumour in March last year. 

The film is said to begin this year in London. Saket Chaudhary's Hindi Medium, which released in 2017, starred Irrfan and Pakistani actress Saba Qamar in pivotal roles. The film was based on India's education system.

Apart from Hindi Medium 2, Kareena will next be seen in Karan Johar's Takht and Good News with Akshay Kumar.
