'Space is the secret to a successful marriage': Mahesh Babu on his bond with Namrata Shirodkar

Mahesh Babu and Namrata are Tollywood’s most loved couple. The two, who met on the sets of Vamsi, tied the knot in 2005.
In a recent interview with a leading magazine, the Bharat Ane Nenu actor opened up about his relationship with his model-turned-actor. “Namrata and I have been married for 14 years. We understand each other well. And we let each other be. That’s the most important secret to a successful marriage. Space. And of course, children - they ground you. I have to credit my dad for teaching me that. When he came home to us, he wasn’t a star,” he reportedly said.
Namrata started her career as a model and was crowned Miss India in 1993, before she entered films. She has worked in both Bollywood and Tollywood. Mahesh and Namrata worked together in Vamsi and later dated for five years before getting married.
The couple has two children - Gautham and Sitara. Namrata often takes to social media to share pictures from their family vacation.
